About Housemart
Housemart Property Management is no ordinary office - it’s a lively, experienced, and slightly quirky crew led by our fearless founder, Hayley. With more years in property management than the dinosaurs had on Earth (her words, not ours), Hayley’s industry knowledge is unmatched. With her at the helm, it’s mostly smooth sailing - aside from the occasional wild idea or two!
Thankfully, we have Julie, our General Manager and the true captain behind the scenes. With a sharp eye for detail and a sixth sense for spotting discrepancies, she keeps us all on track - ensuring every ‘i’ is dotted, every ‘t’ crossed, and every process running like clockwork.
Our five fabulous Property Managers each bring their own flair, energy, and personality to the team - creating a dynamic, supportive back office where no two days are ever the same.
Supporting them is our Business Development Manager, who works closely with Hayley - often gently steering her back from the brink of her more “creative” ideas - and of course, our stellar admin team, who keep the wheels turning and the inboxes flowing.
Together, we’re Housemart - passionate, experienced, and a little bit fun. Property management is what we do, but people are at the heart of it all.

Hailing from a Mokotua farm in the deep south, aged 18, Hayley jumped ship to Australia and fell into the property management industry in Perth.
She’s kept her 35-year career in the industry fresh and interesting by bringing her entrepreneurial skills and passion for progress to her own business.
Hayley is big on systems and finding efficiencies through technology.
Her key business goals are to offer her team a fun and rewarding place to work, and a transparent, honest, reliable service to her clients.

Julie has worked in Business Management for 25 years in the fields of Leisure, Tourism and Technology. She brings a range of skills from each, along with a slightly neurotic passion for bringing order to chaos.
Hayley can’t quite shake her off – Julie has managed her offices on 2 previous occasions. Highly team oriented she works to support our strong team of property management and customer service professionals, keeping the team and office running smoothly.

Rachel brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Housemart team. Rachel began working in the rental industry in 2014, in sunny Hawkes Bay, and is now based in picturesque Queenstown. She has gained experience across multiple facets of the industry, giving a depth of experience that has equipped her with the right skills to deal effectively with challenging situations, and ensure that all aspects of the property management process are handled with care and efficiency. She strives to provide a professional stress-free experience for her clientele every single time.

Megs, originally from Scotland and has lived in Queenstown for seven years, where she has worked in hospitality management until she joined the Housemart team in March 2022. Megan has a colourful background, from marketing, to hospitality and politics, she has come with a wide skillset and a huge passion for working with people. Megan started as our Viewings Manager before moving into her current role as a Property Manager and has a stellar reputation among her clients for her communication skills and getting stuff done!

With 18 months' experience leasing properties and utilising property management skills gained on the job while supporting our team, Warren has progressed to managing a portfolio.
With deep roots in Queenstown, he brings a genuine passion for this picturesque town to his role, ensuring each client finds their perfect home. In his spare time, Warren can be found carving the slopes skiing or enjoying leisurely walks with his beloved canine companion.

Our Leasing Manager, Kirsty, brings a strong client focus to her work, built over 15 years of customer service experience in retail.
Originally from the UK, Kirsty came to New Zealand on a one-way ticket armed with a working holiday visa. After travelling around, she fell in love with the country and settled into Queenstown, making it her home in early 2020.
She loves the outdoors and is a fanatical fitness guru and Les Mills instructor.
